Our recently completed side and rear extension project in Peckham, London to create a kitchen, living and dining space with views down the long landscaped garden at the rear.

Internally, a natural palette of materials is used through exposed oak beams below a fully glazed roof and a bespoke oak window seat which can be utilised from inside and out thanks to the crittall style bifolding windows. In the kitchen a bold terrazzo worktop with flecks of green provides the colour inspiration we chose for the kitchen units and long beam that emphasises the length of the room.

Externally we tested a number of different materials to create interest whilst ensuring this was also aligned to our clients budget. Yellow stock bricks were used in various different bonds with a lime washed base that follows the lines of the glazing.
